Cobra Sport Academy
Throughout my life, I've been very fortunate to be involved in a wide range of sports. Some have just been for fun, while others have been at Elite level and (quite literally) life consuming!
Regardless of level, all these sports have given me a real sense of belonging, incredible camarederie, a special bond, built some life-long friendships and led to an active, healthy, but above all, very enjoyable lifestyle.
Something that's always stayed with me:
"In modern coaching, success is achieved when the coach, as an expert facilitator, removes any interference that blocks the potential of the player which in turn encourages the player's creativity, exploration and self-belief. In this coaching model the player becomes the energy source, which not only never drys up, but ends up igniting the passion of everyone around them."
As a firm believer in 'developing people through sport', my coaching sessions are a blend of embedding core values, improving skills, understanding the game, but above all else, having fun and enjoying playing sport.
Thanks for visiting!

Personal Core Values
(Taken from Saracens rugby club - but ever evolving).
Honesty
"The act or fact of being honest".
If something didn't work, why didn't it work? How can we do it better? Don't place blame, coaching is very much a two-way process, learn from everything.
Discipline
"Behaviour in accordance with rules of conduct".
Stay true to the role, don't get caught up in unnecessary disputes. Lead by example.
Work Rate
Work hard, work disciplined, work to the best of your ability, work in the best interests of your players (and their parents).
Humility
It's not about me being the best coach, it's about the players having the best;
